Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 8, 2026 · Applies to the Farbi app and farbi.app

In short

Farbi works without an account. We don’t know who you or your child are.
Artwork stays on your device. We never see or upload your child’s drawings.
No ads, no third-party trackers, no data sold — ever.
Purchases are handled entirely by Apple. We never see payment details.

1. Who we are

Farbi is a coloring app for children, made by [Company name, address, country] (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what data the Farbi app and our website handle, and why. We built Farbi so that the honest answer is: almost none.

2. Data we collect

Farbi does not require an account, login, name, or email address. We do not collect personal information from you or your child inside the app.

Your child’s drawings, coloring progress, and settings are stored locally on your device (and in your personal iCloud backup, if you have device backups enabled — that data belongs to your Apple account and is never visible to us).

3. Children’s privacy

Farbi is designed for children and follows the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the GDPR (including its rules for children), and Apple’s Kids Category guidelines:

— We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
— There are no third-party ads and no behavioral advertising.
— There are no external links, social features, or chat in the child’s view.
— Any purchase or external link sits behind a parental gate.

4. Purchases

The Farbi family pass is sold through Apple’s App Store using StoreKit. Apple processes the payment; we never receive your name, address, or payment details. We receive only an anonymous receipt confirming the purchase so we can unlock content. Subscriptions can be managed or cancelled anytime in your App Store settings.

5. Photos & permissions

If you choose to save or share a finished picture, Farbi asks for permission to add it to your photo library. That’s a one-way street: we write the image to your library, we never read from it. Farbi requests no other permissions — no camera, no microphone, no location, no contacts.

6. Analytics & crash reports

We use Apple’s built-in, opt-in crash reporting and app analytics (as controlled by you in iOS Settings → Privacy → Analytics). These reports are anonymous and aggregated. We use no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs, and no data is used for advertising or shared with data brokers.

7. Data retention & deletion

Because your child’s data lives on your device, you are in control of it. Deleting the Farbi app deletes all drawings, progress, and settings stored by Farbi. We hold no copy that we could keep or would need to erase.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR and similar laws you have rights of access, correction, deletion, and objection. Since we hold no personal data about you or your child, there is normally nothing for us to hand over or delete — but if you believe we hold any information about you, contact us and we will resolve it promptly. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

9. Changes to this policy

If we ever change how Farbi handles data, we will update this page and the “last updated” date above, and — for any material change — tell you inside the app before the change takes effect.
