Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Farbi app and the farbi.app website (together, “Farbi”). “We” and “us” mean the team that makes Farbi. By downloading, installing or using Farbi, or by subscribing, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Farbi.

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled and forms part of how Farbi works.

Farbi is made for young children to use with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. If a child uses Farbi, you, the parent or guardian, are responsible for that use and for agreeing to these terms on the child’s behalf.

Purchases and subscriptions may only be made by an adult who is legally able to enter into a contract, through their own Apple Account.

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use Farbi on Apple devices that you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, and in line with these terms and Apple’s usage rules for apps. This license is for use, not a sale: you don’t own the software.

Farbi, including the app software, the coloring pages and line art, illustrations, characters, names, logos and other content, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. We reserve every right not expressly granted to you. You may not copy, sell, redistribute or build on Farbi’s content except as these terms or the law allow.

The colors, marks and drawings you and your child add belong to you. Pictures are kept on your device, and you’re responsible for them, including for keeping backups if you want them. We don’t receive them and can’t restore them if they’re lost.

The coloring pages underneath remain Farbi’s content. You may keep your finished pictures and share them for personal, non-commercial purposes, for example with family and friends, but you may not use Farbi’s artwork commercially. When you share a picture, you’re responsible for where it goes.

• What it is. Farbi offers an auto-renewing subscription called Family Pass, which unlocks the full coloring library. Some pictures are free without a subscription.
• Plans and prices. Family Pass is offered as a monthly plan and a yearly plan. The price in your local currency is shown in the App Store before you confirm; we don’t state amounts in these terms because they differ by country. We may change plans or prices over time.
• Billing through Apple. Purchases are made through your Apple Account and are charged to it when you confirm. We don’t receive or store your payment details.
• Renewals. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period (monthly or yearly) for the same length, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Cancelling. You can manage or cancel in your App Store account settings at any time. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and you keep access until then. Deleting the app doesn’t cancel a subscription.
• Family Sharing. Family Pass works with Apple Family Sharing. If you share it, access for family members depends on your Apple Family Sharing settings, and they’re subject to these terms too. If sharing ends or someone leaves your family group, their access through your subscription ends.
• Price changes. If the price of your plan changes, Apple will tell you and, where required, ask for your consent before you’re charged the new price.
• Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies. To request one, use Apple’s “Report a Problem” page or contact Apple Support. We can’t issue refunds for purchases made through Apple.
• Restoring. If you’ve subscribed, you can restore access on another device with the same Apple Account using Restore purchases in the grown-ups’ area of the app.

Please don’t:

• copy, scrape, extract or redistribute Farbi’s pictures or content;
• reverse-engineer, modify or interfere with the app or our servers, or try to get around the parent gate, purchases or any security measure;
• use Farbi in a way that breaks the law or harms others, or to send us unlawful or harmful material;
• use Farbi for commercial purposes without our written permission.

Farbi needs an internet connection to download its pictures and to get new ones, and to buy or restore a subscription. We work to keep Farbi available but can’t promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change or remove pictures, features or the app itself over time.

You can stop using Farbi at any time by deleting the app, and cancel any subscription as described above. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if we stop offering Farbi. If we end the service, sections that by their nature should continue to apply, such as ownership, disclaimers and liability, will continue to apply.

Farbi is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we don’t give any warranties, express or implied, including about fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability or freedom from errors. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer law that can’t be excluded.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of data, including pictures stored on your device. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to Farbi is limited to the amount you paid us for Farbi in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that can’t be excluded or limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn’t responsible for Farbi or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it, and isn’t responsible for claims about it. If Farbi fails to meet a legal warranty, you may notify Apple, which may refund the purchase price of the app, if any, and Apple has no other warranty obligation for it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You must also follow Apple’s terms that apply to your use of its services.

We may update these terms. If we make a material change, we’ll update the date above and, where appropriate, tell you in the app or on this site. Continuing to use Farbi after a change means you accept the updated terms.
